I was asked to make a digger cake for someone's 35th birthday. It was a 6" rich chocolate cake covered in sugar paste. I covered the cake in a pale green sugar paste and made some hills around the edge.
For the digger I made this out of modelling paste and allowed it to dry so everything set in place. I used some of the chocolate cake crumbs to make some soil, that the digger was digging up.

I used tappits to create the message on the board and my final task was to make some little cones.
